Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Greece that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.
1. QR Code
Furthermore, you must register all passengers at least 24 hours before departure from Germany on entry, or passengers with a permanent residence in Greece on departure from Greece, via the Greek Civil Protection Agency website.
Family members under the age of 18 must either apply for their own QR code or be listed with a parent.
We recommend to make this registration at the time of booking for all passengers.
Shortly after midnight on the day of arrival, you will automatically receive a QR code by e-mail or on your mobile phone, which you must show upon entry or departure (passengers with a permanent residence in Greece upon departure from Greece). The test is mandatory for all tourists (including children over 5 years).
*** Without this proof (QR Code) we unfortunately cannot transport you ***
2a. Negative Covid-19 test
A negative rapid antigen test, which must not be older than 48 hours at the time of entry, or a PCR test, which must not be older than 72 hours at the time of entry, must be presented at the time of entry.
2b. Proof of vaccination
If the traveler has completed his/her vaccination protection (i.e. 14 days have passed since the last vaccination, depending on the dose) and can confirm this by presenting the appropriate vaccination certificate (in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Russian), proof of a negative test is not required.
The list of acceptable vaccines are:
- Pfizer BioNtech
- Astra Zeneca/Oxford
- Johnson + Johnson/Janssen
- Sinovac Biotech
- Gamaleya (Sputnik)
- Cansino Biologics
2c. Proof of recovery
Travelers who have recovered from an infection may present a positive antigen or PCR test result instead of a negative test, which must be at least two months and no more than nine months old at the time of entry.
Children under 12 years of age are exempt from presenting proof of health (test, vaccination or convalescence certificate). The certificates must be issued in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Russian. You can also find more information about this on the Greek Civil Protection Authority page.
