Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Canada that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.
We advise travelers to Canada to check the COVID-19: Entering Canada requirements checklist to determine which regulations apply to entry into Canada.
In principle, all entrants must be fully vaccinated. Please check the Canadian government's requirements for proof of vaccination and the continuing obligation to test.
For persons who are not considered fully vaccinated, entry is only possible in certain exceptional cases.
1. Registration via ArriveCAN
Prior to entry, all entrants must register via the ArriveCAN app ( iOS / link for android or online) and provide accurate contact information and /eu/upload their proof of vaccination on or before entry. Use of the app is mandatory. Canadian authorities track compliance with quarantine requirements. The Canadian government will provide further information in case of technical problems.
2. COVID-19 test
Testing is mandatory for entry for all incompletely vaccinated travellers five years of age and older, regardless of citizenship. Published Canadian government regulations for testing requirements apply.
Travellers who have a positive PCR test result where the swab was taken 10 to 180 days prior to entry will also meet the pre-entry testing requirements.
Travellers who have not been fully vaccinated must still undergo a PCR test upon entry at the respective international airport. They must then go into 14-day quarantine. Towards the end of the quarantine, all travellers must take a COVID-19 rapid test provided by the Canadian government as a self-test. Those who are fully vaccinated will also be randomly subjected to a PCR test upon entry, but will not be required to enter quarantine until the result is available.
3. Vaccination
All travelers must present proof of vaccination from an approved vaccine in hard copy or digital format in English or French or official translation. The last required dose must have been administered at least 14 days before entry.
Vaccinations outside of Canada will be recognized as long as the proof of vaccination is /eu/uploaded into ArriveCAN in French or English, or with a certified translation into French or English.
4. Quarantine
Quarantine is not required for fully vaccinated entrants. However, all travelers must make appropriate pre-entry quarantine plans as a precautionary measure. The Government of Canada advises travelers to obtain supplemental information about any differing regulations in their respective provinces.
5. children and other exceptions
Children, under the age of 12 years of age, accompanied by their parents who have /eu/uploaded their Covid-19 vaccination certificate into ArriveCAN, may also enter the country. Additional exemptions are available on the Canadian government's website.
6. Regulation for departure from Canada
Effective October 30, 2021, all travelers over the age of 12 must be fully vaccinated when departing Canada. Transportation of unvaccinated passengers will be precluded.
In accordance with Transport Canada requirements, travelers must confirm at check-in that they have the necessary documents and authorizations for departure by completing the form before entering the security area of a Canadian airport.
-> The form can be found here.
7. Exemptions Covid-19 proof of vaccination
Please return completed forms to specialassistance@condor.com no later than 14 days (Application 1) or 21 days (Application 2+3) prior to departure. Your documents will be reviewed and approved there.
Please carry the following documents with you on your trip and present them at check-in.
- 3 copies of the exemption
