Smart Baggage
So-called Smart Baggages include a built-in GPS tracker, a charging station for mobile phones, and a scale. This equipment is powered by built-in lithium batteries. According to the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, these baggage items must not be transported in checked luggage unless the lithium battery (or power bank) can be removed and then carried in Carry-on baggage. Please note that a maximum of Two spare lithium batteries per person are allowed to be carried (only in carry-on baggage).
You can take it as carry-on baggage, provided that the carry-on baggage allowance and the permitted weight are not exceeded.
It is prohibited to carry dangerous items and substances in your carry-on baggage, such as: knives or scissors, or flammable, inflammable, corrosive or radioactive substances. Please note the special regulations for carry-on baggage.
