For safety and occupational health reasons (loading baggage), checked baggage must not weigh more than 32 kg (70.5 lb) per piece of baggage. This rule also applies to the free baggage allowance. If you wish to take more than 32 kilograms with you, you must divide your baggage between two bags (applies to Business Class passengers traveling to the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico).
Important documents, valuables and medication should be stowed in your carry-on baggage so they are immediately to hand in an emergency. We also recommend that you take out additional baggage insurance.
Details on baggage regulations can be found in our GTBC. You can find information on liability under Lost, delayed or damaged baggage.
The baggage allowance per person applies to adults and children aged 2 and over. Special baggage regulations apply for children, infants, and babies under 2 years of age.
If you have booked a Condor flight together with one or more other people and have a joint booking number, the free baggage allowance can also be distributed across other travellers in you party (applies to checked baggage only, not carry-on baggage).
Free baggage allowance, additional baggage items, weight, and possible fees depend on your route, departure and destination airport, and the fare you've booked. Condor distinguishes between four types of routes: long-haul, medium-haul, short-haul, and city short-haul flights. Your route is determined by your departure and destination airport.
Before you complete your booking, please check the baggage details to see exactly what baggage regulations apply to your chosen trip.
Baggage regulations always apply in both directions, regardless of where your trip starts.

Smart baggage is baggage that incorporates a built-in GPS tracker, a charging station for mobile phones and/or a scale. This equipment is powered by built-in lithium batteries. According to the latest IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, these items may not be checked in unless the lithium battery (or power bank) can be removed and transported in carry-on baggage. Please note that a maximum of two spare lithium batteries can be carried per person (only allowed in carry-on baggage). You can take it as carry-on baggage, provided that the carry-on baggage allowance and the permitted weight are not exceeded.
