Accessibility Statement

Condor is committed to making the website www.condor.com as accessible as possible. Users can book flights, access information and conveniently use services online – many of these functions are already accessible. The goal is to provide all people with easy and independent access to our digital offerings. 

General Service Description

The website www.condor.com is the central online portal of the airline Condor and offers numerous services related to air travel. The main focus is on flight booking: you can search for flights, compare prices, and book directly. Additional services such as seat reservations, baggage options, or special meals can be easily added. You can also manage existing bookings, online check-in and download boarding passes.

Additionally, the website provides information on travel destinations, offers, entry requirements, and baggage policies. A customer service hub offers contact options, FAQs, and support. The page is clearly and responsively designed, making it easy to use on various devices. It is available in several languages and offers intuitive navigation, a search function and the option to manage bookings yourself via a customer account.

Special attention has been paid to accessibility: the content is clearly formulated, the font size can be adjusted, and high-contrast displays are available. The website can be used with screen readers and meets the requirements of the Barrierefreie Informationstechnikverordnung (BITV) [German Accessibility Guidelines for Public Sector Websites] and the Barrierefreiheitsgesetz (BFSG) [German Accessibility Act]. Special information and services are available for passengers with special needs, such as transporting wheelchairs, medical equipment, or assistance dogs. The customer service is trained and offers individual support.

Agreement status

In accordance with the Barrier-Free Accessibility Act (BFGS), derived from the European Accessibility Act (EAA), our standard for accessibility is WCAG 2.1. at Level AA, as well as the harmonized standard EN 301 549, version 3.2.1.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and EN 301 549 are a series of standards designed to ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

Our website is partially compliant with these guidelines. This means that some parts of the content do not yet comply with the accessibility standard.

Inaccessible content

The following content is not accessible or only partially accessible:

  • In some cases, text that structures content is not correctly marked as headings (h1-h6) or heading levels are skipped.
  • Some buttons are not labelled correctly.
  • Focus order is not always logical and consistent in the book flow.
  • The page title in the book flow is not consistently announced.
  • Focus is partially hidden by sticky elements on some screens.
  • The seatmap does not support landscape mode well.
  • There is no search function to find content. A search has already been scheduled for the future.
  • Many documents are available in non-HTML formats, such as PDF. They are inaccessible for various reasons, including the absence of text alternatives and document structure. We have started working on making them accessible.

We are working to remove these barriers as much as possible. Some functions will be replaced with the new relaunch.

Content outside the scope of application

Recorded time-based media and PDFs published before 28 June 2025 are exempt from the Accessibility Strengthening Act. We are committed to making these accessible when re-creating them.

Outlook

We are working flat out on a relaunch of the website, which was designed with accessibility in mind from the beginning. By adapting our development process to new conditions or requirements, we aim to make our website accessible to everyone, regardless of their individual abilities.

This statement was created on 27th June 2025. The basis was a representative sample taken by an external service provider according to the criteria of the BITV test. The statement will be updated regularly as part of our ongoing development.
