Restricciones de entrada actualizadas

Certificado de salud

Se entiende como Certificado de Salud la certificación de una prueba con resultado negativo, una prueba o certificado de vacunación o una prueba de recuperación. Tenga en cuenta que es posible que deba presentarlos a la autoridad competente a través del portal de entrada (www.einreiseanmeldung.de).

Certificación de test

Una prueba de antígenos negativa en papel o en formato digital (no será válida una foto del formulario en papel), que no debe tener más de 48 horas de antigüedad en el momento de la entrada, o un resultado negativo de la prueba PCR (de nuevo, no será válida una foto del formulario en papel), que no debe tener más de 72 horas de antigüedad, serán válidas como certificación del test. Se aceptan certificados de estas pruebas en alemán, inglés, francés, italiano o español. Si se llega desde una zona con variantes del virus, se debe haber realizado una prueba de antígenos con un máximo de 24 horas de antigüedad.

Certificado de vacunación

El certificado de vacunación es la prueba de la existencia de protección contra el coronavirus SARS CoV-2 al haber completado el proceso de vacunación, siempre que éste se haya realizado con una o más de las vacunas enumeradas por el Instituto Paul Ehrlich en el siguiente sitio web https://www.pei.de/impfstoffe/covid-19 y hayan pasado al menos 14 días desde la última vacunación indiviual requerida.

En el caso de personas que se hayan recuperado del virus, una dosis de la vacuna es suficiente para probar la vacunación.

Se acepta la prueba de vacunación en alemán, inglés, francés, italiano o español en papel o en formato digital (no se acepta la foto del formulario en papel).

Prueba de recuperación

La prueba de recuperación es un resultado positivo de la prueba PCR si ésta se realizó hace al menos 28 días y no más de seis meses. El certificado se acepta en alemán, inglés, francés, italiano o español en papel o en formato digital (no se puede fotografiar el formulario en papel).

Balearic Islands

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to the Balearic Islands that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

You are also required to fill in the following documents before arrival:

  1.  Public Health Passenger Locator Form (PLF)
    a) fill in the form on the website www.spth.gob.es or
    b) download the SPTH App and fill out the form there.
     You will then receive a QR code that you should present when checking in.
     

Important information: without seat information, you will not be able to complete the PLF form and thus will not receive a QR code, which is mandatory for entry. We explicitly point out that we are not allowed to let guests fly without a QR Code.

Therefore, we strongly recommend that you either

to reserve a seat. This way you can relax and complete the form at home and avoid long registration times at the airport.

2. COVID-19 test
For the entry from Germany (except Berlin, Hamburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saarland, Schleswig-Holstein) the test obligation as well as the vaccination proof/recovery proof is omitted until 22 August 2021.

All travellers aged 12 years or older who enter Spain by air or sea and come from a risk area are required to carry a negative test result from a molecular biological test (e.g. a PCR/LAMP/TMA test) or an antigen test (so-called "rapid test").

Requirements:

The negative test result must be available electronically or in paper form in German, English, French or Spanish and contain the following information: First and last name of the traveller, date of test collection, test method used, country of laboratory, negative test result.

Proof of vaccination/recovery

  • For travellers who present proof that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to travel with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the WHO by way of emergency approval, the requirement for proof of testing upon entry into Spain does not apply.
  • The same applies to travellers who carry proof that they have not recovered from a COVID-19 infection more than 180 days ago. The proof must be provided no earlier than 11 days after the first positive result. Proof must be provided electronically or in paper form in Spanish, English, French or German. 

Canary Islands

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to the Canary Islands that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

You are also required to fill in the following documents before arrival:

  1. Public Health Passenger Locator Form (PLF)
    a) fill in the form on the website www.spth.gob.es or
    b) download the SPTH App and fill out the form there.
     You will then receive a QR code that you should present when checking in.

Corona warning app
There is a basic obligation to activate the Spanish Corona app "Radar COVID" and to deactivate it at the earliest 15 days after returning from holiday.

Access to the airport building
Please also be aware that visitors who are not travelling are not permitted to access the airport terminal. Only passengers and helpers accompanying passengers in need of assistance are allowed to enter the terminal building.

Chipre

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Cyprus that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.
You are also required to submit the following documents upon arrival:

1. Cyprus Flight Pass
All travelers must register online up to 48 hours prior to departure in order to receive a Cyprus Flight Pass. For this purpose, a questionnaire must be completed online. After completing the registration, please print out the Cyprus Flight Pass and carry it with you on your flight.

2a. Negative Covid-19 Test
The obligation to present a negative PCR test when entering Cyprus from Germany does not apply. Regardless, passengers on select flights should expect to be tested upon arrival in Cyprus.

Please note: If a passenger tests positive upon arrival, other passengers on the flight who were seated in close proximity will also be placed in 10-day quarantine. This also applies to those who have been fully vaccinated if the second vaccination in the case of two-stage vaccination or the single vaccination in the case of one-stage vaccination (Johnson & Johnson) has not been given at least 14 days prior to entry. The costs for accommodation and any necessary treatment in the event of illness are generally borne by the Republic of Cyprus.

2b. Proof of vaccination
Vaccinated passengers please enclose the vaccination certificate to the online registration with the Cyprus Flight Pass. The flight pass and vaccination certificate must be printed out and carried on the flight. Visitors from Germany who have been fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or with the Sputnik V or Sinopharm vaccine can enter the country 14 days after the final vaccination without any further restrictions.

Croacia

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Croatia that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

You are also required to complete the following documents online before arrival:

  • Filling out the entry declaration
  • For all travellers over the age of 12, you are required to carry a negative PCR test result (max. 72 hours on entry) or antigen test result (max. 48 hours on entry) from a provider listed by the EU.
  • Exempt from this requirement are:
    a) Travellers whose vaccination protection is complete, i.e. 14 days have passed since the last vaccination, depending on the dose. The following vaccines are licensed: AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm or Sputnik V; or
    b) Travellers who have recovered from covid-19 disease and can provide the following documents:
    • A COVID-19 recovery certificate issued no more than 180 days prior to arrival and a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that the passenger received the first dose of the vaccine no more than 180 days prior to arrival; or
    • a positive COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test result issued at least 11 days and not more than 180 days prior to arrival.

Grecia

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Greece that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

1. QR Code
Furthermore, you must register all passengers at least 24 hours before departure from Germany on entry, or passengers with a permanent residence in Greece on departure from Greece, via the Greek Civil Protection Agency website. 
Family members under the age of 18 must either apply for their own QR code or be listed with a parent.
We recommend to make this registration at the time of booking for all passengers.

Shortly after midnight on the day of arrival, you will automatically receive a QR code by e-mail or on your mobile phone, which you must show upon entry or departure (passengers with a permanent residence in Greece upon departure from Greece). The test is mandatory for all tourists (including children over 5 years).

2a. Negative Covid-19 test

A negative rapid antigen test, which must not be older than 48 hours at the time of entry, or a PCR test, which must not be older than 72 hours at the time of entry, must be presented at the time of entry.

2b. Proof of vaccination
If the traveler has completed his/her vaccination protection (i.e. 14 days have passed since the last vaccination, depending on the dose) and can confirm this by presenting the appropriate vaccination certificate (in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Russian), proof of a negative test is not required.

The list of acceptable vaccines are:

  • Pfizer BioNtech
  • Moderna
  • Astra Zeneca/Oxford
  • Novavax
  • Johnson + Johnson/Janssen
  • Sinovac Biotech
  • Gamaleya (Sputnik)
  • Cansino Biologics
  • Sinopharm

2c. Proof of recovery
Travelers who have recovered from an infection may present a positive antigen or PCR test result instead of a negative test, which must be at least two months and no more than nine months old at the time of entry.

Children under 12 years of age are exempt from presenting proof of health (test, vaccination or convalescence certificate). The certificates must be issued in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Russian. You can also find more information about this on the Greek Civil Protection Authority page.

Italia

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Italy that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.
You are also required to submit the following documents upon arrival:

  1. Completion of the digital entry application
  2. COVID-19 health proof
    All travelers are generally required to carry proof of health. As proof is recognized:
    a) a negative test result of a PCR or an antigen test (so-called "rapid test"), which must not be older than 48 hours at the time of entry.
    b) A proof of recovery from COVID-19 disease.
    c) A proof of your complete vaccination at least 14 days prior to travel.
    Children under the age of six are exempt from the proof requirement.

Madeira

Tenga en cuenta que registrar sus datos al reservar el vuelo a Madeira representa solo parte de los requisitos que debe cumplir debido a la situación excepcional actual.

Además, debe presentar los siguientes documentos al entrar:

  1. Public Health Passenger Locator Form (PLF)

Tiene la opción de descargar el formulario PLF (PDF) o de rellenarlo online en el período de 12 a 48 horas antes de la salida del vuelo.

Resultado negativo de la prueba COVID-19: Al entrar en Madeira se debe presentar una prueba COVID-19 negativa, realizada no más de 72 horas antes de la salida; como alternativa, los viajeros pueden hacerse una prueba gratuita de COVID-19 a la entrada, cuyo resultado suele estar disponible en un plazo de 12 horas. Las autoridades sanitarias exigen el autoaislamiento en el hotel hasta que se reciba el resultado de la prueba.

Los pasajeros que tengan un certificado de vacunación (documento que demuestre la vacunación completa) y/o una prueba de recuperación de COVID-19 en los últimos 90 días podrán entrar en Madeira sin necesidad de someterse a pruebas. Los documentos anteriores deben presentarse en el momento de la inscripción en la plataforma madeirasafe.com/#/login.

Spain (Mainland)

Además, antes de entrar en el país, deberá cumplimentar los siguientes documentos en línea:

  • Registro de entrada para Turquía
  • Todos los viajeros que viajen a Turquía mayores de seis años están obligados a presentar un resultado negativo de prueba PCR que debe realizarse como máximo 72 horas antes de la salida del vuelo.
  • Para los viajes a Alemania, Turquía exige la presentación de un resultado negativo de prueba PCR a todos los viajeros mayores de seis años. La prueba PCR se debe realizar como máximo 48 horas antes del vuelo. Las autoridades turcas llevan a cabo un control.

Canada

Entry

We advise travelers to Canada to check the COVID-19: Entering Canada requirements checklist to determine which regulations apply to entry into Canada.

Effective July 6, 2021, the first phase of planned relief for entry of fully vaccinated travelers will take effect. The regulations provide for the elimination of the federal quarantine requirement, including the three-day hotel quarantine that was previously mandatory.

1. registration via ArriveCAN

Prior to entry, all entrants must register via the  ArriveCAN app ( iOS / link for android or online).

2. COVID-19 test

Travelers must take a PCR test within 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight to Canada. This includes passengers who have been fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19 disease. Passengers who have not reached the age of five are exempt. All airlines must deny boarding to travelers who cannot present a valid PCR test result.

3. vaccination

Travelers must present proof of vaccination from an approved vaccine in hard copy or digital format in English or French or official translation. Vaccinations outside of Canada will be recognized as long as the proof of vaccination is /es/uploaded into ArriveCAN in French or English, or with a certified translation into French or English.

4. quarantine

Quarantine is not required for fully vaccinated entrants. However, all travelers must make appropriate pre-entry quarantine plans as a precautionary measure.

The Government of Canada advises travelers to obtain supplemental information about any differing regulations in their respective provinces.

China

Entry

Due to the highly regionalised entry regulations in China, we kindly ask you to inform yourself about the entry regulations valid at that time on the website of the German Foreign Office before you start your journey.

Egipto

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Egypt that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

You are also required to submit the following documents upon arrival:

1. Public Health Passenger Locator Form (PLF)
Please download this document in your chosen language, fill it out carefully and bring it to the airport with you for your departure.

2a. Negative Covid-19 test
A negative PCR test is required for entry from Germany, which must be proven to be no older than 72 hours, and no older than 96 hours if entering via Frankfurt Airport. The test result must be presented in English or Arabic. A QR code on the test result may be required, further information on this will be provided by the Egyptian authorities. If the test result does not include details of the date and time the swab was taken, you should expect to be refused entry. Children under the age of six are exempt from the testing requirement.

2b. Proof of Vaccination
If the traveler has completed his/her vaccination protection (i.e. 14 days have passed since the last vaccination, depending on the dose) and can confirm this by presenting the appropriate, proof of a negative test is not required. The proof of vaccination must comply with the rules of the issuing country and include a QR code.

The list of acceptable vaccines are:

  • AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria)
  • Johnson + Johnson/Janssen
  • Moderna

Jamaica

Entry

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Jamaica that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

  • Entry by air is possible for returning Jamaicans and other nationals with permanent right of residence in Jamaica, as well as tourists and business travellers.
  • All inbound travellers must obtain official travel authorisation from Jamaican authorities before checking in for their flight.
  • In addition, all entrants aged 12 and over must provide proof of a negative PCR or antigen test, which must not be older than three days at the time of entry.
  • Entry via seaports is still not permitted.
  • A possible quarantine after entry depends on the reason for travel and the evaluation of the traveller's personal health situation.
  • Mandatory upon entry is the downloading of a COVID-19 app on the smartphone for easier contacting of the health authorities in a suspected case.
  • Travellers must agree to download the app during the application for entry clearance.

Maldives

Entry

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Maldives that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

  • Booking confirmation from a resort for the entire duration of your stay must be presented.
  • It is a mandatory requirement for all tourists to present a Negative result for a nucleic acid test (PCR test) for Covid-19 on arrival in English. The swab must not have been taken more than 96 hours before departure. Children under one year of age are exempt from the test requirement.

  • Submission of an electronic entry declaration. This must be completed on the Maldivian border authorities' website within 24 hours before departure.
  • The Maldivian government recommends that travelers use the local tracing app TraceEkee.
  • Temperature checks are carried out upon arrival. Travellers with Covid-19 symptoms must take a PCR test at the airport, which is subject to a fee. Random tests may also be conducted free of charge.
     

México

Entry

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Mexico that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

  • Your passport should be valid for at least six more months.
  • German, Austrian and Swiss citizens travelling to Mexico as tourists can enter the country without a visa.
  • To enter Mexico, you must fill in a Tourist Card, which will remain valid for a maximum of 180 days.
  • Your Tourist Card will be stamped on entry and must be kept safely as it must be produced again when leaving Mexico.
  • The use of one Tourist Card for an entire family or group is not permitted.
  • Travellers are required to complete the online cuestionario de pasajero questionnaire. You can fill in this questionnaire online or in the app 12 hours or less before departure and will be given a QR code.

Mexican health authorities do not currently require certification of health status or test results. Quarantine measures are not provided. However, fever is increasingly being measured and travelers may be required to undergo an examination if they show symptoms.

Kurdistan-Iraq Region

Entry

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to the Kurdistan-Iraq Region that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

In addition, you are required to complete the following documents online prior to entry.

  • All travellers to Lebanon are required to carry a negative PCR test certificate, which must not be older than 72 hours. The result must be printed out in English or Arabic on entry.
  • If no test result can be presented, a test must be carried out at the airport at the expense of the customer.
  • This does not apply to travellers who have official proof of having received two doses of vaccination against Covid-19.
  • Travellers must sign a declaration in which they undertake to self-isolate for fourteen days. Exempted from this are official delegations, business travellers and tourists on short trips, provided they have a negative PCR test result.

Lebanon

Entry

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to Lebanon that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

  • Entry application for Lebanon
  • The "Covidlebtrack" app must be downloaded and activated prior to check-in.
  • All travellers to Lebanon are required to carry a negative PCR test certificate, which must have a QR Code. It must not be older than 96 hours at the time of entry. This does not apply to persons with a medical certificate stating that they have been a) fully vaccinated against COVID-19 more than 15 days ago or b) recovered.
  • A PCR test is carried out at the airport immediately after arrival. Children under 12 years of age are exempt from the requirement of a PCR test.

República Dominicana

Los costes de una tarjeta de turista para entrar a la República Dominicana están incluidos en el precio del billete y serán pagados a la autoridad por Condor. Están exentos de pago los ciudadanos y residentes dominicanos.

Entry

  • All travellers wanting to enter or leave the country are required to complete an electronic form ('e-ticket'). This has now replaced all previous forms for entry, customs and health-related purposes. Further information will be provided by the Dominican migration authority.
  • Temperature checks are carried out upon entry, and breath tests are also conducted at random. Travellers are required to take these tests.
  • A negative test result is not required for the flight with Condor.

United States of America (USA)

Entry

Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to USA that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.

  • Entry is currently restricted to US citizens, permanent legal residents of the US ("green card" holders), close relatives of US citizens, diplomats or employees of international organisations. Further details on other exceptions and the issuance of National Interest Exceptions (NIE) are published by the US missions in Germany.
  • All passengers travelling to the USA are required to print, complete, sign and carry this form in duplicate.
  • All travellers to the USA are required to provide proof of a negative corona test (PCR or antigen test), which must not be older than three days before the flight departs. Infants under two years of age are exempt from this requirement.
  • Persons who have been infected with COVID within three months prior to departure must provide the airline with appropriate proof.
  • Masks are compulsory during the flight and at the airports. Refusal to wear a mask is a violation of federal law and may result in denied boarding, disembarkation from the aircraft and/or the imposition of penalties under federal law. Children under the age of two are exempt from the mask requirement.
