Please note that registering your details when you book your flight only partly fulfils the requirements for entry to the Canary Islands that you are required to meet based on the current exceptional situation.
You are also required to fill in the following documents before arrival:
Passengers who do not have a vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery:
Public Health Passenger Locator Form (PLF)
a) fill in the form on the website www.spth.gob.es or
b) download the SPTH App and fill out the form there.
You will then receive a QR code that you should present when checking in.
Important information: without seat information, you will not be able to complete the PLF form and thus will not receive a QR code, which is mandatory for entry. We explicitly point out that we are not allowed to let guests fly without a QR Code.
Therefore, we strongly recommend that you either
1a. COVID-19 test
For the entry from Germany a negative test result (nucleic acid amplification tests, e.g. PCR, LAMP, or TMA test are recognized) or an antigen citizen test recognized in the European Union (so-called "rapid test") must be carried. Testing must have been performed no more than 72 hours (nucleic acid amplification tests) or 24 hours (antigen tests) prior to entry. The negative test result must be available electronically or in paper form in German, English, French or Spanish and contain the following information: First and last name of the traveller, date of test collection, test method used, country of laboratory, negative test result.
1b. Proof of vaccination
For travellers who present proof that they have been fully vaccinated at most 270 days and at least 14 days before arrival with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the WHO by way of emergency approval, or a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they received a booster dose.
1c. Proof of recovery
The same applies to travellers who carry proof that they have not recovered from a COVID-19 infection more than 180 days ago. The proof must be provided no earlier than 11 days after the first positive result. Proof must be provided electronically or in paper form in Spanish, English, French or German and include the following information: First and last name of traveler, date of test collection of first positive nucleic acid amplification test, test method used, and state of issue.
Corona warning app
There is a basic obligation to activate the Spanish Corona app "Radar COVID" and to deactivate it at the earliest 15 days after returning from holiday.
Access to the airport building
Please also be aware that visitors who are not travelling are not permitted to access the airport terminal. Only passengers and helpers accompanying passengers in need of assistance are allowed to enter the terminal building.
