Entry into the Republic of Cyprus is possible without additional COVID-19-related proof, effective June 1, 2022.

If travelers test positive upon arrival or later, the Cypriot government commits to their care during their stay and to the care of close contacts. This means contacting them, placing them in a quarantine hotel, and covering the cost of lodging, meals, and medications. Quarantine is to last seven days; if the traveler is symptom-free, release occurs at the end of the seven days without further testing. Free testing is possible on the fifth day after a positive test with a PCR test (the test is counted as day zero); the cost of the test must be borne by the traveler. On August 1, 2022, proof of vaccination, testing or convalescence will no longer be required when entering France from any country. This also applies to travel between continental France and French overseas territories.

Proof of the reason for travel in certain constellations ("compelling reason") has been eliminated. Likewise, an affidavit from travelers on their willingness to undergo antigen testing after entry is no longer required.

The entry requirements to China are updated frequently. Therefore, we kindly ask you to inform yourself about the entry regulations valid at that time on the website of the German Foreign Office and the Chinese Embassy - in particular with regard to any vaccination and test certificates required for entry as well as the application for a Green Health Code, which must be presented upon entry. Please note that special entry requirements may apply in the individual regions of China.

Anyone travelling to Cuba will be obliged to provide proof of health insurance cover valid for Cuba for the intended duration of the stay. If possible, the ancillary policies issued by your insurance company should be in Spanish, but policies in German or English will also be accepted.

Travellers who do not have proof of sufficient insurance cover upon arrival in Cuba may take out a policy with a Cuban insurance company at the airport.

• All travellers wanting to enter or leave the country are required to complete an electronic form ('e-ticket'). This has now replaced all previous forms for entry, customs and health-related purposes. Further information will be provided by the Dominican migration authority.
• The presentation of a vaccination certificate or a negative coronatest is currently not a requirement for entry from Germany.
• Temperature checks are carried out upon entry, and breath tests are also conducted at random. Travellers are required to take these tests.

• Since June 17, all entry requirements have been waived. Thus, neither a test nor proof of vaccination or recovery is required when entering Egypt.

All passengers aged 12 years and above shall provide a certificate showing that they are fully vaccinated. The complete vaccination must be proven with a QR code such as in the European Vaccination Certificate.

Travelers for whom it can be proven that vaccination is not possible for medical reasons may enter with a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours at the time of entry

For quarantine regulations, please refer to the current regulations of the Kurdistan Regional Government's Ministry of Health. Entry and exit possibilities at Iraq's land borders remain severely restricted.

All guests 12 years of age and older traveling to Lebanon must register online. Upon registration, appropriate proof of vaccination status, convalescent status and/or a current COVID-19 test result must be /nl/uploaded. Generally, the negative result of a PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before boarding time or a rapid antigen test taken no more than 24 hours before boarding time must be /nl/uploaded from an official site (with QR code).

However, all persons with complete vaccination protection (i.e. persons whose last vaccination/booster vaccination was less than six months ago) are exempt from the requirement to provide proof of a negative test result prior to entry. Appropriate proof must be /nl/uploaded.

Also, persons who return to Lebanon within one week after leaving Lebanon are exempt from the requirement to present a negative test result upon re-entry. However, relevant proof of previous entry must be /nl/uploaded in the online platform.

Transit from Beirut to Syria
Passengers in transit via Beirut to Syria must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result no later than 48 hours prior to departure and undergo COVID-19 PCR testing upon arrival at their own expense.

This does not apply to Passengers:

• with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days and no more than 6 months prior to departure, or
• With a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to departure and have received a booster dose.
• Passengers younger than 12 years of age.

• Booking confirmation from a resort for the entire duration of your stay must be presented.
• Submission of an electronic entry declaration. This must be completed on the Maldivian border authorities' website within 48 hours before departure.

• Temperature checks are carried out upon arrival. Travellers with Covid-19 symptoms must take a PCR test at the airport, which is subject to a fee. Random tests may also be conducted free of charge.

Entry to Hawaii
