For safety reasons, we can only accept animals with a confirmed reservation that are travelling with a booked passenger. One animal per passenger is accepted in the cabin and/or in the hold, subject to availability. In addition, only one animal may be transported per container.
Regulations for flights with other airlines
Please note: To ensure the successful transport of your pet, present the printed and filled out Live Animal Acceptance Checklist (PDF, 92.8 KB) at the start of your journey.
Due to new regulations to combat rabies, dogs that have visited high-risk rabies countries in the last 6 months are excluded from transportation. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides a current list of affected countries.
All other customers with dogs must complete the CDC Dog Import Form before traveling to the USA and must carry with them and present the receipt at check-in and entry. For more information, please visit the Center for Disease Control (CDC) website.
Dogs of the following breeds are generally not allowed to fly. In the event of non-compliance, the airline is entitled to refuse carriage to the animal. The airline cannot be held responsible for any resulting direct or indirect damage. This also applies to mixed breeds.
Snub-nosed dog and cat breeds are particularly sensitive to temperature and stress. This can lead to serious damage to health or, in the worst case, even death. They are therefore generally prohibited (in the cabin and hold) on our flights.
Dog breeds prohibited from flying include:
Affenpinscher, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Bulldog (all breeds except American Bulldog), Bullmastiff, Chow-Chow, King Charles Spaniel, Brussels Griffon, Japanese Chin, Lhasa Apso, Pug (all breeds), Pekinese, Pitbull, Shar Pei, Shi Tzu, Tibetan Spaniel
Cat breeds prohibited from flying include:
Persian, Burma, Himalayan, Scottish Fold, British Shorthair, Exotic Shorthair Cats
This also applies to mixed breeds.

Travellers to the UK, Ireland, Sweden and Malta must comply with the previous, stricter regulations regarding blood tests and hepatitis vaccinations for pets.
