Important information for flights to, from and within Italy

As part of the check-in process, we are happy to assign contiguous seats (next to each other or – if not possible – in the same row of seats) to children aged 2 to 11 years and their parents or accompanying adults who travel in the same travel class with Condor from, to or within Italy. The same applies to people with disabilities or those with reduced mobility who are assisted by an accompanying person.

Seats per travel class

Economy Class: Up to 76 cm (29.9 in) of legroom, with reclining backrests and ergonomic seats for enhanced comfort.
Premium Economy Class: Extra legroom, adjustable footrests and a greater recline angle for added comfort. Enjoy your flight snuggled up in a blanket and pillow.
Business class: Heavenly comfort with fully automatic lie-flat seats, spacious footwells and individual entertainment screens. On short- and medium-haul routes, you'll enjoy a window or aisle seat in the front rows, with the middle seat left free in rows of three. Best of all: Seat reservation is free of charge for Business Class travelers!

Important notes

Aircraft changes:
In the event of a last-minute change of aircraft, we may not be able to honor your seat reservation.
Business Class seat reservation:
- Free reservation: Valid from the last German departure point to the first arrival point abroad. On the return flight, the reservation is valid from the final point of departure abroad to the first point of arrival in Germany.
- Short and medium-haul flights: Depending on availability in Business Class, your chosen seat may be reassigned on the departure date. We will do our best to offer you a comparable alternative seat.
- Children under 12 years: For safety reasons, children under 12 years of age cannot be seated in all seats in Business Class on our A330neo. Specifically, seats A and K in rows 2, 4, 6 and 8 can only be booked for passengers aged 13 and over.
Flights with other airlines:
Unfortunately, seat reservations cannot be made through Condor for flights with partner airlines, including connecting flights. You must book your seat on the website of the airline in question.

What happens if I don't reserve a seat?

Passengers who have not booked a seat will be automatically allocated a seat by the check-in system. If you want to sit next to your partner or friends, we recommend making a seat reservation.

Where can I find the seat maps for Condor aircraft?

You can view seat maps and learn more about our fleet on our aircraft pages. You can also access this information directly when selecting your seat. Simply click on “My trip”.

Can I change my seat again at the airport check-in counter?

Yes, you can change your seat at the check-in counter. However, this is only possible if there are still seats available.

Is there a charge for seat reservation in all classes?

If you have booked Business Class, seat reservation is free of charge.

A fee is applicable with XL seats and special seats such as the Prime Seat. You must also reserve seats for children under the age of 2 if they are traveling in a children's car seat.

I have booked my flight as part of a package tour or through a tour operator. Can I still reserve a seat via condor.com?

If you have booked a package holiday, you can reserve your seat up to 48 hours before your flight. Simply go to “My trip” and select “Tour operator”. Enter your booking number and the details of all your fellow travelers. Then follow the steps to payment.

This is not applicable for certain full charter flights, such as those operated by TUI Cruises. In these cases, please contact your tour operator.

If you have booked Premium Economy Class or Business Class but can only see Economy Class options, please contact your travel agent or tour operator.

Can I book an additional seat?

Yes, you can reserve a free middle seat with us starting 24 hours before departure. You can add this extra seat online when you check in or via “My trip” starting at $65.00. This only applies if there are still seats available on the plane. More information can be found on our Seat Reservation page.

Can I change my seat during Online Check-in?

Yes, you can change your seat via Online Check-in up to three hours before departure. If you are traveling in Economy Class, this change will incur a charge.
