Your safety on board always comes first. If you book an emergency exit seat, please be aware that you must be ready to assist our cabin crew in the unlikely event of an emergency.
For security reasons, our check-in staff and on-board personnel must check your details. This is a standard process that helps to ensure the safety of everyone on board.
If necessary, Condor reserves the right to assign you an alternative seat. We will do this in consultation with you and will make sure that your in-flight experience is not impaired. If you have any questions or concerns, our friendly staff are always on hand to help.
Please also note that the ability to adjust the backrest may be limited for some seats.
Our most spacious seats are located directly by the emergency exits on all aircraft. It is therefore imperative that vital safety requirements are met. For this reason, certain individuals are not permitted to sit in these seats.

You can reserve XL seats directly during your flight booking. You can reserve XL seats up to 48 hours before your departure via “My trip”.
If you have booked an XL seat, an overhead bin will automatically be available to you. You do not need to book this separately.
Unfortunately, pregnant women cannot book XL seats. These seats are near the emergency exits and therefore special safety regulations apply. You can find more information here.
You can reserve XL seats for children aged 14 and over. For safety reasons, children under the age of 14 cannot book XL seats.
It is important that anyone traveling in the XL seats can help the crew in an emergency. You can find information about this here.
If your children are under 14 years old, you cannot book XL seats. This is due to safety precautions: The seats are located directly next to the emergency exits. Therefore, passengers sitting here must assist the cabin crew in an emergency. However, if you are traveling with older children, you are welcome to book these seats for your family. For an even more relaxed flight and extra-comfy seating, book one of our popular XL-Seats with extra legroom. The limited number of seats at the emergency exit offer significantly more legroom and comfort than a standard seat, even in Economy Class – a must for a pleasant flight experience.
