Long flights can sometimes be boring for kids. In addition to our exciting entertainment programme and practical services, we have also put together some useful tips to keep the journey exciting for little passengers. Our ideas make your flight an entertaining experience for all the family!
Any adult can take a small child under the age of 2 with them. Infants under the age of 2 travel comfortably on your lap, so no separate seat is provided. Changing tables are also available in the toilet facilities on all flights. If your infant reaches the age of 2 before the return flight or on the return date, you must make a booking for them as a full-paying child (2–11 years) with a seat for safety reasons.
Service fee for infants under 2 years of age: We charge a small service fee for infants under the age of 2. This is based on the flight destination and is clearly displayed in your basket during the booking process.
Family advantage when boarding: We can offer priority boarding (preboarding) for families with small children (under the age of 2) at most airports.

Families with babies or small children are usually allowed to board the plane first. This gives you more time to settle in and store your carry-on baggage.
Yes, babies under 2 years old only pay a small fee when they travel on an adult's lap.
Yes, children older than 2 years can take their own carry-on baggage. These have the same size and weight restrictions as usual.
On all our short-haul flights, we offer delicious children's classics such as pasta with tomato sauce or schnitzel. On our long-haul flights, you can book a children's meal for your child.
Children under the age of 2 may travel on an adult's lap using a belt extender on Condor flights. It is also possible to book a seat for the child at the regular price. The child can then sit in a child seat that you bring on board. The child seat must meet certain requirements.
Remember: If your child turns 2 years old before the return flight, you need to book an extra seat.
Yes, you will find changing tables in the washrooms on board.
Yes, you can take a stroller, buggy or car seat with you free of charge. You must check these items in. You will then get them back on arrival as you disembark the aircraft.
Yes, you can take your stroller to the gate. It will then be loaded as checked baggage and will be available after you disembark the aircraft.
You do not need to register strollers, buggies, travel cribs, child carriers or car seats with Condor. We carry these items in the hold free of charge. However, this excludes strollers with special functions, such as joggers or bicycle trailers. You may bring a maximum of two of these items per child.
Our cabin crew is trained to assist in emergencies. There is basic equipment on board to treat minor health problems.
