Need to take medical equipment or medication on board? See here for all the important information about taking medical equipment with you.

Plan in enough time on the day of departure. We recommend arriving at the airport at least two hours before departure for short-haul flights and at least three hours for long-haul flights.

Register medical baggage

Inform us as early as possible – at least 48 hours before your departure – if you wish to take a medical device, medication or accessories with you. The service can only be booked for flights with a DE flight number. It is also automatically booked for your return flight if this is operated with a DE flight number. For other flights, please contact the relevant airline.

Medication

Medical liquids: Do you have a liquid medication that you would like to take on board? The amount of liquid medication in carry-on baggage is regulated by the government. Approval depends on the security authorities of the country of departure, transit and destination. It is your responsibility to ensure approval.
Quantity: Take enough medication for the entire flight, plus an extra 2 to 3 days. The rest belongs in your checked baggage. We are happy to transport your medication free of charge, but the quantity should be sufficient for a vacation of 2 to 3 weeks.
Needles and syringes: Please carry a doctor's letter from your attending physician with you while traveling.
Doctor's letter: Carry a letter from your doctor with you. This should state the name of the medication, the dosage and the reason for taking it. This also applies to items such as syringes, needles or EpiPens, which could otherwise cause problems at the security checkpoint.
Original packaging: The medication should be in its original packaging and clearly labeled.
Additional prescription: It is helpful to have another prescription with you. This way you can get new medication if it is lost or damaged.
Legal situation: Some medicines contain ingredients that are banned in other countries. Please clarify this beforehand with the embassy of the country you are traveling to. It is your responsibility to ensure that your medication is permitted.
No food: Foods such as gluten-free products are not considered medication.
Refrigeration: There is no possibility of refrigerating medication on board. Discuss alternatives with your doctor in good time.

Dialysis machines

We transport dialysis machines for you free of charge. Due to safety regulations, medical devices must comply with the dimensions and weight for carry-on baggage. If your dialysis machine exceeds these limits, please ensure that it is properly packaged for transport in the cargo hold.

To register dialysis machines, we require the following information:

Brand and model
Weight and dimensions (length, height, width)

You may take a sufficient quantity of dialysis fluid with you free of charge for 2 to 3 weeks' vacation. For longer stays, please organize delivery to your accommodation.

CPAP devices

We transport CPAP devices for you free of charge. Due to safety regulations, medical devices must adhere to the size and weight restrictions for carry-on baggage. If your CPAP device exceeds these limits, please make sure it's properly packed for transport in the cargo hold. To register CPAP devices, we need the following information:

Brand and model
Weight and dimensions (length, height, width)

If you want to use the device during your flight, please note that there are no power sockets and the device can only be operated with batteries. Additionally, a prior certificate of airworthiness is required for use on board. For this purpose, the form for medical clearance must be filled out.

Please send us this form filled out by your doctor at least three months and no later than 48 hours before your planned departure via our Fit to Fly online form.

Oxygen concentrators (PPOC)

You can take your own oxygen concentrator on board our Condor aircraft. For safety reasons, we only accept concentrators with FAA approval.

Please note that there are no power sockets on board. Your device must therefore be battery-operated and fully charged before departure. The battery life must be 150% of the planned flight duration.

Unfortunately, it is not permitted to carry oxygen containers with gaseous or liquid oxygen. You are welcome to take a portable oxygen concentrator with you. Please register this with us in advance. Please also fill out our medical assessment form (Medif A). Transport and flight boarding is not permitted without registration and a medical certificate.

The medication must be in its original packaging and clearly labeled.
