The following applies to all wheelchairs: Please register your mobility aid at least 48 hours before departure. Transportation will also be automatically booked for your return flight. You don't need to register walking sticks or crutches beforehand.
After you register, you'll receive a written confirmation from us regarding your booking of mobility aids.
If your wheelchair cannot be safely transported or loaded, we reserve the right to refuse carriage.

Our aircraft fleet consists of different types of aircraft. Since there may always be last-minute changes, we cannot guarantee that you will fly with the same aircraft as specified at the time of booking.

Please measure and weigh your manual or electric wheelchair. We require height x width x depth as well as the weight in kilograms.
If you want to bring an electric wheelchair with you, please check which batteries it uses, their capacity in watt hours, and whether they are removable. Batteries are classified as dangerous goods, so you must comply with the relevant regulations. Further information can be found further down the page.
Please register your wheelchair at least 48 hours before your scheduled departure. You can take crutches and walking sticks on board without having to register.
To register your manual wheelchair, you just need to fill out and submit the online form.
To register your electric wheelchair, you need to download a second form, fill it out and email it to specialassistance@condor.com. Please take this form with you on all your flights.
Please arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure for short-haul flights and at least three hours before departure for long-haul flights.
If your mobility aid needs to be dismantled for transport, please bring the assembly instructions and the necessary tools with you.

Below you'll find the requirements for safely transporting your battery-powered wheelchair, depending on the type.
If the wheelchair has a wet cell battery that is not leak-proof, you can leave it in the wheelchair. The wheelchair must be able to be loaded, stowed, secured and unloaded in an upright position.
Additionally, please make sure of the following:
If your wheelchair has a wet cell or non-leak-proof battery and cannot be loaded, stowed, secured or unloaded upright, you'll need to remove the battery. You cannot take such a battery with you as baggage.
Removed batteries can only be shipped as cargo by a certified hazardous goods service provider. The wheelchair without the battery should then be checked in as normal checked baggage.
Yes, all of our aircraft have a wheelchair. Our crew will be happy to help you on your way to the on-board toilet. However, our flight attendants cannot carry or lift you. If you require additional assistance, please travel with a companion.

We offer three different options: wheelchair service to the boarding gate, to the aircraft door or to your seat on the plane. You can also reserve a wheelchair for on board. No, each companion needs a valid flight ticket.
We will make sure you can sit next to your companion. If you need more than one person to support you, our service team will help you find the best solution.

We transport up to two manually operated mobility aids, such as a manually operated wheelchair, rollator or crutches, free of charge.
Walking sticks and crutches are not considered carry-on luggage. You can therefore take them on board in addition to your allowed carry-on baggage. You do not need to register these walking aids in advance.
If possible, you'll receive your wheelchair right at the aircraft after landing, immediately after disembarking. Unfortunately, we cannot offer this service at all airports.
If you do not get your wheelchair or mobility aid right after getting off, you can pick it up at the oversized baggage carousel at the baggage claim area.

You can bring a battery-powered wheelchair with you. However, this means that there are some additional things to consider, as the stowage location and loading of your wheelchair depend on the type of drive and battery. As an airline, we're obliged to comply with the technical requirements of the IATA dangerous goods regulations. This is the only way we can ensure safe transport.
