Relaxed flying

All Condor aircraft are equipped with defibrillators in case of emergencies. These devices automatically detect cardiac arrhythmia and can be used by the flight crew in an emergency. Our staff is regularly trained on the use of defibrillators.

All Condor flights are non-smoking flights. Smoking is not permitted; this includes e-cigarettes. We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain a smoke-free environment.

In some countries, it is mandatory to spray the cabin with an insect repellent before or after landing. We use the "Standard Reference Aerosol" (SRA), which is harmless to health. This measure serves to prevent the introduction of animal or plant diseases. Affected destinations include Barbados, Cuba, Jamaica, Madeira, Mauritius, Maldives, Mexico, Seychelles and Trinidad/Tobago.

• Drink a lot: The air on the plane is often dry. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
• Wear comfortable clothing: Wear comfortable clothing that does not pinch. Comfortable shoes and thick socks will keep your feet warm.
• Bring warm clothes: Bring a jacket or a small blanket as it can be cool on the plane.
• Breathing exercises: Relaxation exercises can help you stay calm.
• For a better night's sleep: A neck pillow and sleep mask can help you sleep better.
• If you have a cold: Take nose drops before the flight and try to drink more than usual. This helps to equalize the pressure in your ears.
• Chewing gum or sweets: These can help equalize the pressure in your ears.
• Don't worry about noises: Airplanes sometimes shake or make noises. This is normal and not a cause for concern.
