This is how we became Germany's most popular holiday airline, and remain so to this day. Are we proud of our history as the inventor of the holiday flight? Absolutely. Looking at our compass also points the way to the future. Because of course we want to continue to be your favourite holiday airline. That is precisely why we continue to develop every day. Sunshades, beach towels, ice-cream parlours. Who doesn't love them, the good mood stripes? They stand for lightness, for freedom to experience the world, for the gentle sea breeze in your hair, the sun's rays on your skin and also for us. Because we and our fleet wear them too. Stripes are a way of life. For decades. Timeless, elegant, unmistakable... just like us.

As a leisure airline and international airline, we don't just fly. We connect people and build bridges between cultures and regions of the world. You, as our guests on board, are just as diverse as our destinations – and of course as we ourselves, with our employees. This diversity has many facets. And colours. And that's why we are colourful.

Our colours are not only found around the globe on holiday. They also stand for the fact that a colourful world cannot be expressed with a single colour. Naturally striped and colourful in Sunshine (yellow), Passion (red), Sea (blue), Island (green) and Beach (beige).

The good thing is that history and future can complement each other perfectly. We know this, appreciate it, and live it. In this way, we can remain true to ourselves, yet continue to develop and have, in the truest sense of the word, given ourselves a new coat of paint. It not only does justice to our DNA, but also to your expectations of us. Our compass has been retained, as have our logo, and the colour yellow. And because it is precisely our passion that makes us so unique, it is now also reflected in our motto: ‘Passion is our compass.’ 

With our new look, we are well dressed for our journey into the future and look forward to welcoming you on board! The new design was presented with the first A330neo in Toulouse. The 2-liter aircraft was launched with green stripes and has been taking off for you since autumn 2022.
