Peter Gerber assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Condor on 1 February 2024. He is also President of the Federal Association of German Airlines (Bundesverband der Deutschen Fluggesellschaften e.V., BDF).
Previously, Peter Gerber held managerial positions in the Lufthansa Group for over 30 years. Among other things, he was a member of the Executive Board of Lufthansa Passenger Airlines, CEO and CFO of Lufthansa Cargo and most recently CEO and CCO of Brussels Airlines. He also served as Chief Representative for European Affairs at the Lufthansa Group and as President of the German Aviation Association (BDL).
Heiko Holm has been Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Condor since March 2024. He has also assumed the position of the second managing director at Condor Technik, which he shares with Ralf Herbig. Heiko Holm is responsible for all technical matters at Condor.
He spent around nine years in various management positions in technical and flight operations at Wizz Air Group, most recently as Officer Central Operations. Prior to that, he held various national and international management positions at Lufthansa Technik for over 15 years.


Christian Schmitt has been Managing Director of Operations and Accountable Manager at Condor Flugdienst GmbH since September 2017.
He began his career in 1997 as part of a dual study and trainee programme at Deutsche Lufthansa AG. Following this, he held roles as a project and operations manager both in Germany and abroad. He later introduced the A380 to the airline's international airport network.
In addition to his responsibilities at Condor, Christian Schmitt is involved in the "Deutschlandstiftung Integration" (Germany Integration Foundation) on a voluntary basis. This foundation provides scholarships to students with migrant backgrounds. Through his involvement, he has helped students enhance their business and management skills.


Björn Walther took over the finance department at Condor on 1 June 2022. As CFO, he manages Condor’s finances. He is also responsible for IT, Legal & Compliance, Procurement, Fleet Management and Fuel Management & Insurance.
Björn Walther has extensive experience in the national and international environment: after working for the TUI Group and Roland Berger, he was CEO of the tour operator ÖGER Tours and CFO for Continental Europe within the Thomas Cook Group. Before joining Condor, he was CFO of the HRS Group in Cologne.
