Mileage credits at a glance
Your flight miles will be credited based on the travel class and fare you book. In some cases you even get additional bonus miles! For a detailed breakdown of how it works, please refer to the overview below:
Short and medium-haul
- Business Class – 100% miles + 100% bonus miles
- Economy Flex – 100% miles
- Economy Classic – 75% miles
- Economy Class with promotional discount – 50% miles
Long-haul
- Business Class – 100% miles + 100% bonus miles
- Premium Class – 100% miles + 25% bonus miles
- Economy Flex – 100% miles
- Economy Classic – 75% miles
- Economy Class with promotional discount – 50% miles
How to collect miles in no time
Example 1: You are flying from Frankfurt to Seattle and have booked an Economy Classic fare:
- The flight distance is 5,094 miles.
- In the mileage credit overview, according to "Economy Classic", the flown miles are credited at 75%.
- This means: 5,094 x 0.75 = 3,820 miles credit*.
Example 2: You fly from Frankfurt to San Diego and have booked a Premium Economy Classic fare:
- The flight distance is 5,819 miles.
- According to the mileage credit overview, you will be credited 125 % for this route (100 % regular credit + 25 % bonus).
- This means: 5,819 x 1.25 = 7,274 miles credit*.
*Decimal places are rounded up or down.
