We will send you an email when you can check-in. Alternatively, you can log in directly here and proceed to online check-in. Follow the instructions and enter your passport details.

For long-haul flights, Online Check-in is available from 24 hours to 60 minutes before the flight. For short-haul and medium-haul flights, it will be open from 24 hours to 45 minutes before take-off.

Other important points:

• Online Check-in is available for groups of up to nine people.
• Mobile boarding passes are not accepted everywhere, e.g. in the USA or for flights from the UK to the USA as well as in Hurghada and Windhoek.
• Passengers with animals or unaccompanied children can check-in online, but will not receive a boarding pass.
• Groups of nine or more and passengers with special baggage, which costs extra, cannot check in online.

Yes, at many German airports, you can check-in and drop off your baggage the evening before. You will can also pick up your boarding pass at this point.

If you're flying in Premium Economy Class or Business Class, this service is free of charge. You can find more information about late night check-in here.

This depends on which check-in option you choose:

• Online Check-in: You can check in online from 24 hours before departure and receive your boarding pass in advance. If you are traveling with carry-on baggage only, you can go straight through security to the gate. Please note: Online check-in is the only free option in the Economy Zero fare. • Late night check-in: At many German airports and at Zurich Airport, you can check in, drop off your baggage and receive your boarding pass on the evening before your departure. More information on late night check-in can be found here.
• Check-in at the airport: You can check in at the airport counter.

The opening times vary depending on the departure airport. We generally recommend that you arrive at the airport 2 hours before departure. If you are traveling to the USA or Canada, it is best to allow three hours.

If you've booked the Economy Zero fare, a check-in fee of 25,00 € applies at the airport. However, online check-in is free of charge. Airport check-in is also free for all other guests.
