Smart baggage
Smart baggage incorporates a built-in GPS tracker, a charging station for cellphones and/or a scale. This equipment is powered by built-in lithium batteries. According to the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, these items may not be checked in unless the lithium battery (or power bank) can be removed and transported in carry-on baggage. Please note that a maximum of two spare lithium batteries may be carried per person (only allowed in carry-on baggage).
You can take them as carry-on baggage, provided that the carry-on baggage allowance and the permitted weight are not exceeded.
It is prohibited to carry dangerous items and substances in your carry-on baggage, such as: knives or scissors, or flammable, inflammable, corrosive or radioactive substances. Please note the special regulations for carry-on baggage.
