Peter Gerber assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Condor on February 1, 2024. He is also President of the Federal Association of German Airlines (Bundesverband der Deutschen Fluggesellschaften e.V., BDF).
Previously, Peter Gerber held managerial positions in the Lufthansa Group for over 30 years. He was variously a member of the Executive Board of Lufthansa Passenger Airlines, CEO and CFO of Lufthansa Cargo, and most recently CEO and CCO of Brussels Airlines. He also served as Chief Representative for European Affairs at the Lufthansa Group and as President of the German Aviation Association (BDL).


Christian Schmitt has been Managing Director of Operations and Accountable Manager at Condor Flugdienst GmbH since September 2017.
He began his career in 1997 as part of a dual study and trainee program at Deutsche Lufthansa AG. Following this, he held roles as a project and operations manager in Germany and abroad. He later introduced the A380 to the airline's international airport network.
In addition to his responsibilities at Condor, Christian Schmitt volunteers with the Deutschlandstiftung Integration (Germany Integration Foundation). This foundation provides scholarships to students with migrant backgrounds. Through his involvement, he has helped students enhance their business and management skills.


Dag Jessel has been the new Chief Financial Officer at Condor since July 6, 2026. Mr. Jessel brings many years of international experience as a CFO and managing director. His career has taken him through various industrial and service companies, as well as several international growth and transformation programs.
He has had particularly close ties with the aviation industry for many years: at Lufthansa, his roles included Director of Finance & HR for North Asia and a position in the Mergers & Acquisitions division. Other roles within the Lufthansa Group included positions in cost management, process optimization and technology.


As CCO, Dr. Pierre Dominique Prümm will be responsible for the areas of Network & Partnerships, Revenue Management, Cargo, Sales and E-Commerce.
Dr. Prümm has more than two decades of leadership experience in the aviation industry. Most recently, as Board Member for Aviation and Infrastructure at Fraport, he was responsible for the operational and strategic core business of Frankfurt Airport. In various leadership roles, he oversaw strategy, business development, growth, customer orientation and infrastructure projects.
Heiko Holm has been Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Condor since March 2024. He has also assumed the position of the second managing director at Condor Technik, which he shares with Ralf Herbig. Heiko Holm is responsible for all technical matters at Condor.
He spent around nine years in various management positions in technical and flight operations at Wizz Air Group, most recently as Officer Central Operations. Prior to that, he held various national and international management positions at Lufthansa Technik for over 15 years.
