Condor Airlines won an award from the German Traveler Magazine “Clever reisen!” for being the airline with the best child fares. This means that Condor comes top of all the German airlines.
The assessment criteria included clarity of price presentation, rules for obtaining discounts, and looking at several random samples. Condor offers particularly family-friendly rates, together with numerous additional services for children. For example, infants under two years of age are given a reduction of 90% in all classes and children under 12 get a reduction of 25% in Economy Class as well as in Premium Economy. Condor also offers child discounts not only on its regular fares, but also on its special fares, such as the Joker Flights Rate or Catch a fly-t.

From our main hub in Frankfurt, Germany, we have an exciting new destination in store for those who feel like Samba in the sun: Rio de Janeiro. Three times per week, we will be flying into the vibrant Brazilian metropolis. Due to the existing connections to Salvador da Bahia and Recife and thanks to the cooperation with GOL airline, passengers are enabled to organize their vacation in Brazil even more conveniently.
Are you enthusiastic about traveling to Asia? Departing from Frankfurt, Condor guests can fly even more frequently into the Thai holiday paradise Phuket. Or take advantage of our first ever flights to Rangoon in Myanmar on Tuesdays and be enchanted by the architectural marvels and beautiful parks.
On January 13, 2012, Condor and the Peanuts handed over a check in the amount of 175,000 euros to the aid organization Wings of Help – LOG. Until December 2011, the money was collected in the context of the common fund-raising of Condor and the license holder of the Peanuts. This joint campaign began in 2010 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the loved cartoon characters. One aircraft of each fleet was decorated in a prominent way with large Peanuts figures in order to attract worldwide attention. What a great success!
The donation amount is composed of parts of our earnings from ticket and board shop sales, the sale of Child Menus and many special activities which were exclusively meant to support the good cause. Furthermore, Condor passengers and fans were asked to donate online on condor.com.
Support that reaches those in need! With the aid of the Peanuts, Condor and Wings of Help – LOG intensively helped in Haiti in the past 24 months. An example: when Cholera broke out at the end of 2010, relief supplies were flown to the Caribbean island.
Condor and Wings of Help – LOG will continue the successful cooperation. Both partners agreed on a sustainable commitment and will carry out further relief transports into crisis regions. The next transports will bring medicine, blankets, food and much more to Haiti and East Africa.
The Condor summer flights 2012 can be booked right away. In the upcoming summer season, we will fly even more frequently to North America, e.g. to Baltimore on the American East Coast and Toronto in Canada, to Mauritius and to the Caribbean. Many attractive destinations such as Cancun in Mexico, Havana and Holguin in Cuba, Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic as well as Jamaica and Panama await you. In addition, we increased the amount of shorthaul flights to Greece and the Canary Islands.
Discover the Adriatic Coast! In the summer flight schedule 2012, Condor for the first time offers flights to the picturesque city of Rijeka and to Dubrovnik. Experience the unique ambience in the beautiful seaside town with its awesome medieval centre. Enjoy with Condor the “pearls of the Adriatic Sea”.
Soak up the sun next winter: Condor’s 2011/12 winter flight schedule is out now, and features great offers at attractive prices. Book shorthaul flights from 97 USD and longhaul flights from 418 USD.
Look forward to fascinating travel experiences: starting on December 21, Condor will be flying twice a week between the beautiful Caribbean island Puerto Rico and Germany.

In cooperation with Lufthansa Systems, Condor’s Boeing 767 fleet is equipped with the new in-flight entertainment system BoardConnect. This innovative WiFi-based infotainment system allows passengers to access a great variety of e.g. movies, music or games via implemented screens or personal laptops, tablets, smartphones and other compatible devices. Furthermore, it gives the airlines the opportunity to provide state of the art information offers and services. BoardConnect also proofs itself with its five access points which are connected to a central server. This means that the individual cabling with each seat is not necessary anymore. If an aircraft is also equipped with a broadband internet access, passengers can easily connect with the internet, check their e-mails or get in touch with friends in social networks. Thereby, they can quickly be informed about their connecting flights or receive personally tailored offers.
Again, we are expanding our flight network and gladly present Seattle as a new US departure airport in our summer flight schedule 2011. For the first time from next June onwards, nonstop flights will be departing from the metropolis on the Pacific Coast to our German hub Frankfurt Int.
From Frankfurt Int. many flights take off to the most beautiful destinations across Europe. Have you ever thought about visiting Croatia? The exciting port city Split is one of our new summer destinations 2011 and attracts visitors from all over the world with a great variety of cultural and historical highlights and some nice beaches. It’s definitively worth a visit.
Discover Brazil’s variety: Condor expands its cooperation with the Brazilian airline GOL and therewith enables flights to 18 additional destinations throughout Brazil. The new flight connections, e.g. to Aracaju, Manaus, Porto Seguro, Sao Luiz and Porto Alegre, are provided via Salvador da Bahia. Thanks to the cooperation you can change planes fully relaxed. Baggage items will be checked through until your final destination in Brazil.
And again, you can also benefit from the convenient AirPass offer for individual expeditions. At IATA-approved travel agencies passengers can book three different travel zones around the Condor destination airport Salvador da Bahia and as of summer 2011 around the Condor destination airport Recife. Zone 1 comprises Brazil’s northeast and offers three flights starting at 300 euros. With zone 2 you can reach all of Brazil with four flights starting at 400 euros. Zone 3 offers four flights starting at 600 euros and includes various destinations in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay.
Additional airline costs tested: independent travel portal smavel.com has repeated its popular test, evaluating a total of eleven airlines this year (smavel airline test 9/2010). In a comparison of additional costs, the experts were so impressed by Condor's offers and transparent price structure this year that the airline improved its overall rating from 2009 (“good”), instead rating “very good (1.9)” in the smavel airline test 2010.
Additional charges for baggage, credit card payments and insurance are not concealed on the website condor.com – instead, these are clearly listed for users.

For about seven years, the aid organization not only offers medicinal help and relief material but also provides strategic support through the supply and coordination of shipment and by carrying out air transport. Wings of Help – LOG puts the main emphasis of its work on helping children throughout the world.
